This morning, we visited several Orang Asli families in Hulu Langat. They were incredibly hospitable and we learnt so much about their daily lives and culture.
A visit can never be complete without gifts, and since the MCO, it has been more inconvenient for the families to get their daily necessities and groceries, so we brought daily essentials such as rice, sugar, cooking oil, flour, noodles, biscuits and canned foods.
And of course, we can’t forget about the kids who have been staying home this whole time. They were really excited when we brought out some new toys they could play with!
We’re glad we’re able to help, and we appreciate the hospitality from the families. We look forward to continuing the great friendships we made today!
